Eagle Cam: Great Learning Opportunity!

Happy Sunday!

We have been studying all sorts of animals in second grade and one was the bald eagle. We were lucky enough to find this live Eagle Cam to have the children see. It is wonderful- you must check it out! The cam is based out of Norfolk Botanical Gardens in Virginia. It shows three baby eagles that were born in mid March and the mother and father visit the nest quite frequently. There are some great FAQ's on the Norfolk Botanical Gardens site to check out as well that give more information regarding the history of the eagles and their nest. My students absolutely love check in on this on a regular basis. I hope you are able to share this with your students- it is a great learning opportunity!
